This weekend, Kiss on the Rocks and crew visited,
the 2 opening shows in Sheffield and Newcastle.
What a fan weekend that was…

We arrived in England just right on time to still see the support act.
At 8.45 Kiss was on and we were blown away by the new showopening,
the best opening they have ever had.

The band updated the set with new songs and new special effects and as always,
there was not a dull moment.

The next day, after posting at what we thought was the Kiss hotel
(did you guys sneak out the back door? ;-)),
we ran into Gene’s Axe van on the M1 driving to Newcastle.

We got there early to get our Premium Ticket passes to ensure early entry.
How lucky we were to see the band arrive at the venue for sound check.
Gene and Tommy came out to the gate and took all the time in the world to talk,
take photographs and sign items.

At 6 we were notified 2 of us got upgraded to the Meet & Greet!
Although some of us have done Meet & Greets before,
it remains an experience you don’t want to miss.
If you are a true Kiss fan, and if you can spend the money,
then don’t hesitate, it’s all worth it.

The guys took all the time to look at our pictures,
signed many items and posed for individual pictures.

The Newcastle show was even better than the Sheffield show!

Thank you Kiss, thank you crew, thank you Kiss army!

I had a blast at the Sheffield and Newcastle gig’s,
and I still can’t believe I’ve had a Meet & Greet with KISS.
I’m 40 years old now and a fan from when I was 7 years old.
My first kiss lp was actually “KISS” and the rest followed.
Now I also manage the kisstributeband KISS on the RockS.
So the meet & greet is really a great happening for every KISS fan.
As Specially in my case, for years I wanted the signatures,
of the orig. members tattooed on my arm.
Last year I had a meet and greet with ace frehley ,
and he signed my arm and i got it tattooed the next day.
Now I had the change to get Gene and Paul to sign my arm,
en luckily they did.
They even took great pictures of the happening,
and I love to share them with everybody .
On Sunday my arm was signed ,
and on Monday I had to fly home to Holland,
the next day the signatures where put in my skin forever,
at tattoo Mick’s shop in Dordrecht.
