Today our Kiss cruise started in Los Angeles!
Ace on the Rocks was actually on the same flight as the band!
Paul, Gene, Eric and Tommy where in great spirits,
and where very happy to see us.
Also upon arrival in Miami they took all the time in the world,
to talk to fans that showed up.
You could see the band looks forward to the trip,
and has many surprises up their sleeves.
More updates to come...

Wow, Kiss on the Rocks’s Crew  Tattoo and Spaceman, Hans and Rutger,
have just arrived back in the port of Miami and are back online.
The Cruise ship was out of data contact for days,
so we could only figure what was going in there.

Here are the first pictures.
Youtubes coming in the next days.
The guys are relaxing in Miami right now and will be travelling home tonight,
with bags full of merchandise.

The trip was absolutely amazing.
3 great Kiss shows, 2 meet and greets,
seeing the guys going in and out of their rooms and dressing rooms,
following them for the Elvis walk, hanging with the crew…
Great times at the Bahama’s!

We’ll be there next year!

It’s hard to imagine, but it has been close to 3 weeks,
when we got off the Carnival Destiny,
the ship that took us out to the Bahama’s with Kiss.

Many people have been asking about our adventures…
Not sure if we can share all, but let’s give you some highlights.
As you have seen, our Spaceman on the Rocks,
got on the Kiss jet from Los Angeles to Miami.

Rutger is still blown away by being on the same plane as KISS.
The band was super cool upon boarding,
in the plane and when they arrived in Miami.
In fact, Eric was so kind to ask his driver to load Rutger’s luggage,
in his car as well to pick up Hans from the international terminal.

Eric hang out waiting with Rutger for 2 hours until the plane arrived.
He shared many good stories and looks forward,
seeing you all at the KISS expo on November 27th.

The first day on the ship started with a security drill.
Before getting into that, we made sure we knew the best route to the Lido Deck,
to make sure we would get up front for the unplugged performance.
Of course we did, and wow, was it worth it.
The band played an amazing unplugged set,
and played around with many obscure songs as you have by now seen on youtube.
We will shortly be sharing some great video’s we took as well.

The unplugged show was worth it by itself, but of course,
there were the make up shows in a small theatre as well.
Luckily we managed to attend both shows.
Again, you have seen the setlist, you have seen the pictures and video’s, wow…
The second show was even better than the first one.

Live on the ship was great.
We met with many old and new Kiss fans from all around the world,
and the events at the ship were cool.
Highlights include the Q&A with Doc McGee,
Tommy’s Golf tournament and the small tattoo convention,
at which Crew Tattoo has to pose for many pictures.

Even better, 4 days living like a fan, with fans,
totally going crazy in trying to get the maximum out of the trip.
We got lucky to be in the same hallway as Kiss,
so we ran into them once in a while.
In fact, their dressing rooms were just doors away from our cabin.
When doing the Elvis walk to the stage, they had to walk towards our cabin.
Imagine that, the band in full regalia at your doorstep.
We have been walking right behind the band’s crew (and the band)
when they headed for their 2nd make up show.
The band was always super cool.
Can you imagine running into Gene Simmons when you’re planning to get dinner?
Can you imagine running into Tommy Thayer,
when you’re enjoying the view on the Bahama’s?
If you can’t, be there next year…

Oh, and did we mention we stopped at Half Moon Cay and Nassau?
Additional bonuses were clear skies, white beaches, palm tries,
crystal clear water, bikini’s and cocktails?

Large accolades for the Sixthman crew and the Carnival Destiny staff.
These people went out of their way to provide you with service, attention,
direction and kind words whenever you needed it.
Our only downside of the trip was Hans loosing his bag full of goodies,
in the cab when leaving the ship.
Some e-mails with Sixthman and the cruise company,
and a replacement bag with goodies will be delivered to Hans next week.
Customer Service with capital C and S!

A HUGE thank you to KISS’ crew for giving us some more insights,
into the inner sanctum.

Keith, you rock man!!!
