What a day…

Last Thursday, April 30th, was supposed to be,
a huge party in all Holland.
As we all know, Queensday in Holland started great,
but ended on a sad note with people being killed,
during what looks like an attack on our royal family.
We had planned a great party at Get Rhythm,
were we headlined the Queensday festival.
Get Rhythm is a great place ,
and this was going to be our 3rd gig at the venue.
Queens day is our Ace’s birthday,
and gigs on that day are always special to us.
On our way to the show we were in doubt,
should we play or not?
When we arrived at the venue ,
and saw all the people that had gathered for the festival, there was only one thing we could do: play our socks of.
We decided to be a little sober on special effects
(Ace’s smoking guitar decided that on his own note ;-)),
but we rocked the roof off.
Approximately 200 people had a blast and so had we.

Thank you Get Rhythm,
thank you Sweeping Statement for joining us on the bill,
and thank you to the fans for insisting on us playing.

Our thoughts are with the victims in Apeldoorn.
