This weekend, Kiss on the Rocks and crew visited,
the 2 opening shows in Sheffield and Newcastle.
What a fan weekend that was…
We arrived in England just right on time to still see the support act.
At 8.45 Kiss was on and we were blown away by the new showopening,
the best opening they have ever had.
The band updated the set with new songs and new special effects and as always,
there was not a dull moment.
The next day, after posting at what we thought was the Kiss hotel
(did you guys sneak out the back door? ;-)),
we ran into Gene’s Axe van on the M1 driving to Newcastle.
We got there early to get our Premium Ticket passes to ensure early entry.
How lucky we were to see the band arrive at the venue for sound check.
Gene and Tommy came out to the gate and took all the time in the world to talk,
take photographs and sign items.
At 6 we were notified 2 of us got upgraded to the Meet & Greet!
Although some of us have done Meet & Greets before,
it remains an experience you don’t want to miss.
If you are a true Kiss fan, and if you can spend the money,
then don’t hesitate, it’s all worth it.
The guys took all the time to look at our pictures,
signed many items and posed for individual pictures.
The Newcastle show was even better than the Sheffield show!

KISS on the RockS & Gene on the Rocks split ways
It is with regret that we have to inform you that Kiss on the Rocks,
and Robbert van Gorcum(Gene) have decided to split ways.
Robbert was one of the founding members of Kiss on the Rocks,
and has been instrumental in the development,
of what Kiss on the Rocks is today.
We wish Robbert all the best in his future endeavors.
The start of 2011 will therefore mark a new era and,
we look forward to it very much!
The band will be bigger and better.
We already have some candidates eager to jump in the demon persona,
and we also have a temporary Gene Simmons available for upcoming shows.
Still, we will be doing auditions to get you the best.

Dear KISS on the RockS fans…
We are excited to let you know we have found our new Gene on the RockS!
Shortly after announcing we split ways with the past,
an eager bass player and avid Kiss fan,
living by the name of Jean-Paul knocked on our doors.
While auditioning other bassplayers, Jean-Paul continued to show up,
impress as a singer and player, and as a new found friend and partner.
Jean-Paul has already joined the works in updating our stage look,
boy will you be excited to see what our stage will look like in 2 months from now.
Like we promised, bigger and better than before.
Anyhow, Jean-Paul is teaming up with our costumer builder in the USA right now,
and we will soon show you some bad ass pictures of the man in full war outfit.
Also, we will hit the stages in Holland for some surprise performances soon.

There's a first time for everything...
Hello KISS on the RockS fans...
I am so excited to leave a few words on this website.
Here's a picture of my first shot at make-up!
We did it this weekend.
While the other guys were working on our new stage,
I spend some time trying to look like the (de)man himself.
Judge for yourself...
And if you like this,
wait till you see what the guys came up with stage wise.
KISS on the RockS was a dream come true for me all ready,
but this is going to be STAIRway to heaven.
I look forward seeing you all at a show soon!

but with only a few of you able to attend.

in one of our favorite venues in Holland: De Baroeg in Rotterdam!
2 weeks later, we will do our first big show in Hoornsterzwaag.
And, only one week later, we will be doing our full show in Total Music Schiedam,
on June 11th.
All gigs will be filmed for a DVD recording.

This weekend Dutch tributeband Kiss on the Rocks celebrated their 5th aniversary,
as well as the birthday of their beloved tour manager 'Tattoo' Hans.
Hans is arguably the biggest Kiss collector in Holland,
and expanded his collection with an official Paul Stanley Flying V guitar,
given to him by Kiss on the Rocks.
Pictured is Hans, who has Kiss tattood all over his body,
And of course, holding 2 Kiss birthday cakes.
Congratulations Tattoo Hans!

bigger and better than ever before
Last Saturday night we finally got a chance to share our excitement,
with a group of avid Kiss on the Rocks fans.
In Rotterdam’s Baroeg’ club we performed our first gig with our new Demon on the RockS,
as well as our completely new stage.
And what a night it was…

KISS on the RockS op RTL4 - donderdag 20.30 uur
Aanstaande Donderdag is het weer zo ver,
de KISS on the RockS aflevering wordt herhaalt,
bij RTL's 'Help mijn man heeft een hobby'!
Dit is de 4e keer dat deze succesvolle show herhaalt wordt,
en weer op prime-time televisie.
Tot dusverre hebben meer dan 2 miljoen kijkers,
kennis kunnen maken met KISS on the RockS,
en deze landelijke bekendheid,
heeft KISS on the RockS geen windeieren gelegd.
Deze show heeft de band ook in de media gebracht bij,
Giel Beelen 3FM, Radio Veronica, De Wereld Draait Door,
en deze winter staat er een nieuw televisie programma op stapel,
waarin KISS on the RockS centraal zal staan.
Om de meest gestelde vraag meteen maar te beantwoorden... ja,
de hoofdpersoon uit deze aflevering heeft de band inmiddels verlaten...
